Congratulations to Sydnie Cobb and Professor Butler!

Junior Sydnie Cobb and Professor Jason Butler are one of 15 pairs of scholars from across the country selected to participate in Normandy: Sacrifice for Freedom Albert H. Small Student and Teacher Institute, an extraordinary World War II program that will include a semester's worth of online study and a two-week, all expenses paid summer institute in Washington, D.C., and Normandy, France. After submitting an extensive application along with 82 other student-teacher pairs, Sydnie and Prof. Butler were selected to embark on this experience which will include creating a website and giving at least two public presentations regarding the Fallen Hero they choose to study.
