NHD: "Taking a Stand in History"

On Dec. 15, 2016, DECA held its fourth annual National History Day competition. The 2017 NHD theme of "Taking a Stand in History" was tackled by all the 9th and 10th grade fall-semester social studies students, in addition to a handful of other students who volunteered to participate.
Fifty-four projects were presented, with the top projects (see below) chosen to advance to district competition on Jan. 26, 2017.

These students were hoping to advance to regionals and states as many of their peers did last year:
